Most women are making a big mistake when we apply eye cream.
(And the eye area is one area of your skincare routine you really want to get right! It’s the thinnest and most delicate skin on your face, so it ages you the most.)
So what is this big eye cream mistake?
Only applying eye cream under your eyes, and ignoring your brow bone.
Most of the time, you’re applying eye cream to address crow’s feet or under-eye issues like wrinkles or dark circles, right?
After all, these areas tend to be the first to wrinkle and sag.
But the skin under your brow bone is just as thin and delicate, and can also get crepey, loose, and wrinkled.
So you've got to put something under your brow bone, too, to stop “brow droop.”
Fortunately, all you have to do is apply a dab of your eye cream to your brow area — pretty quick and easy, right?
When you apply the eye cream, make sure you use gentle taps to avoid tugging on the skin. (This goes for your entire eye area, by the way, not just the brow bone.) And use your ring or pinkie finger to apply your eye cream — they tend to be the weakest fingers, so they won’t pull on your skin as much.
Finally, make sure you’re using an eye cream that’s addressing wrinkles and sagging in multiple ways. That means the right peptides for the eye area, ceramides, moisturizers, and collagen boosters.
Okay, so try these tips out, and let me know how it goes!
